FENGHUANG

Fenghuang was a very short stop on my journey through China. A mini-break between long walks or bike rides in Guilin and future trips to Zhangjiajie National Park. Fenghuang is nicknamed the "Chinese Venice". The old city, like most old Chinese cities, is a concentrate of small shops and restaurants. The streets are narrow and crowded. Chinese tourists flock there by the thousands to take pictures in this city that lights up as the sun goes down.
